I'm completely happy with my purchase. I personally felt the install was easy and the instructions were thorough, but understand that a) I did not tie into the factory speaker system or amp, at all (in fact, I tore both out, as I did a full system replacement) and b) I'm very mechanically and electrically inclined.

I have the factory in dash unit and a Garman Nuvi. I have to say neither is perfect in a rural area. They both have plus and minus', thats why I use both.

I have the Kenwood DNX 6160 and I am very pleased with it. I wanted in-dash navigation also got it for Sirius, USB and Bluetooth. I don't use it for DVD but there if I want. Very happy with it.

Portable all the way. You can get some nice dash or windshield mounts.
