If I hold the brake and the gas together, the Engine will touch the hood.

I cannot find new mounts anywhere, and without a hoist, I am unsure on how to replace them.

I just need to get 2 more years out of the car, but this cant wait. it keeps popping hoses off.

Its redneck engineering at its finest but chains around the frome and motor mounts have worked for years.
Im not even an official redneck but Ive driven more than one vehicle with this mod eithet due to bad motor mounts or because the motor had lots of horse power and a nasty habit of putting fan blades through the hood.
    Try sourcing mounts here http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/shop_parts/engine_mount/chevy/cavalier.html

And heres a decent how to http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0i9s6d7oAkg&desktop_uri=/watch?v=0i9s6d7oAkg
