need help removing bowtie from the grille

    i got a 2005 silverado 1500 and i am painting the bowtie on the grille black i was wondering what is the easiest way to take the bowtie out and and what is the best paint to use on it

    Just remove the whole grill assembly. Once it's removed you'll be able to access the 2 nuts holding the bowtie on the grill...

    And the best paint to use it Krylon Fusion... It's the pest paint for plastics that I've ever found... (Except for doing it professional style at a shop with all the equipment... LoL)
