Hello all I recently purchased an 87' Jimmy I have a leak coming from the front diff pinion seal. Can anyone guide me on how to replace this seal?

This is a tricky but do-able job just take your time. Take the drive shaft down and remove the pinion yoke. Measure the distance the yoke goes in, then being careful, ply out the seal, using an oversize 1/2 drive socket, grease the new seal and tape it in gently till it is at the same depth as the old one. Clean the threads real good and then wipe a nice thin coat of synthetic grease on the inside of the yoke (you already cleaned the splines) and slide the yoke back in and put the nut back on and tighten it till your close to the outside marks, then go the rest of the way with a 1/2 drive torque wrench. Try to keep any slack out of the differential while you do this. If , if you push the shoulder of the seal you'll bent it and it'll leak again. Good luck !
