Hey all, I just bought a used Go-Rhino chrome grille guard for my 97' burban. I got most of the rust off with WD40 and some other thicker material. I was wondering if anyone knew some good rust removal techniques, and also what i could use to prevent further rusting.

    thanks,
    tom

the only suggestion i can think of to prevent it from rusting in the future is to have a clear powder coat put on otherwise ya might just have to keep on it every once and a while.the product i use to get rust off my rims is called neverdull works awsome

Mothers in a small jar works great as does neverdull as Tom mentioned. I prefer mothers & 2 rags on a warm day

I'd sandblast it and get it powdercoated.
