Recently I removed my intake manifold to replace my intake manifold gaskets. Upon inspection I noticed my EGR ports on the manifold were filled solid with very hard carbon build-up. After removing as much as I could, I noticed that there were no ports on the drivers side head to match the EGR ports on manifold. Is this normal, or did some where down the line were the heads replaced with the wrong heads (which is what I'm starting to believe happend seeing the engine has 364,314 miles). If so how can I tell which heads I have? It still has 4 bolt valve covers... Please help a noob out!!! Its a 94 Suburban w/5.7 non-vortec
