I am going to replace the shocks/struts on my 2002 s10 4x4 crew cab.

Can I lower it a bit safely as well at the same time? will this cause any issues with drive line angles with the drive shafts etc....

Is there a safe # of inches I can lower it before I cause any issues?

or should I just stick with a stock replacement shock and strut?
