I have a 2008 Silverado with 22,000 miles, there is a slight hesitation when I start her up, as soon as the truck starts the clock and date reset it doesn't happen all the time but often enough to tick me off. It still has the factory battery...any ideas??? Have the extended warranty but want to try to fix the problem myself thanks.:grrrrrr:

Hmmmm I don't know, doesn't really sound like a bad battery. If it doesn't have enough juice to run the clock and resets it then I wouldn't think it'd have enough to start. I'd take it in even though I understand wanting to fix it yourself. Lot less hassle.

If your Truck is still under Warranty....why wouldn't you have the Dealer fix the problem??.....
