hey guys i am a first time chevy owner and would like some input on a few things.
i have a 06 silverado crew cab 4x4 and love it!

    1. i raised the torsion bars 7/8 inch to get level. what is the max tire i could fit with that?

    2. if i added a 1" torsion key to the front and 1" block in rear what size tire could i fit?

    3. what is the stock rim width for my 17" wheel?

    Welcome to the site.

1.Depends on rim diameter and offset.

    3. Stock 17" rims are 7.5" wide.

What kind of look are you trying to achieve? Most torsion key kits give you around 3" of lift, are you keeping the stock rims? If that is the case you can fit 305/65/17, 285/75/17, depends what you want.

Good point, I just assumed 1500 because he asked about 17" stock rims. Don't 2500's have 16"?
