i just bought a Pioneer DEH-P3000IB for my 2003 Tahoe with the Bose sound system. The head unit has outputs for an amp but can also be used for the real speakers, which is the way i did it, but they are putting out real weak. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and could help me solve it.

The outputs for the AMP are usually not Amplified since they are going to amp and that can cause distortion try hooking the rear speakers to the rear out and it should sound fine since those are amplified by the head unit.

i not completely sure, but i thought you needed a interface to make the aftermarket radio use the bose amp, as mentioned you could take each speaker and run itstraight to the head unit.
