Lots of trucks up there on Long Island?
Nothing better than having a bon fire on the beach in the dog days of summer! Especially up in the northern climates where it cools off some at night. Ahh, reminds me of growing up in the northwest actually.
Not like Texas or a lot of other areas of the Country, but there are more trucks now than I've seen over recent years. Maybe the price drop in gas, or the availability of E85 is helping drive up truck sales. Hopefully we get a few more on GMTC and can have a few GTGs.
Where's Smith Point? If not too far out, we could get a few members from the area to join us. Bonfire on the beach sounds good to me. Maybe we can get steve to join us. :glasses:
Is out in Shirley at the end of the William Floyd parkway but of a ride but if you make it a full day thing way worth it I think ally you need is fishing poles and a 4x4 like ally the other off road sites on long island
Sounds good. Let's plan a GTG. When is a good weekend, preferably a Sat. Can we camp out overnight or is it only open during the day?
Any weekend good for you is good for us and I believe it's hours cause I have friends that stay it'll all hours in the am lol;-)
I'm a Lawn Guylander and I'm interested in joining a group of truck-nuts. I live in Nausea County ( Nassau for those who can't figure it out) and I'd like to join. What is entailed in the process?
