    Hey everyone,
My name is Rex. I just purchased a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71. I bought it with a K&N CAI and Magnaflow exhaust, which sounded great. So far I've pulled the MAF screen, painted the grill to match the black paint and started working on a stereo install. I've ran Zero gauge wire to the amp, with a distribution block. Ive got a JL 1000/1 amp to power two new JL 13tw5's in a custom MDF and Fiberglass box that fits under the rear seat. I plan on painting the box black and maybe wraping the box fronts and sides in Carbon Fiber. I've built several boxes but I think this one is turning out the best. I never remember to grab a camera when I'm working on it, so all my pictures end up on my cellphone. I can post some eventually if anyone would like, but it may be a few days. My plans are to upgrade the rest of the stereo, although it already has the Bose "Premium" sound system. Next summer I plan on putting a 6 inch lift on it and a supercharger whenever I feel like sparing the money. Still haven't decided which kit. Well enough rambling, just wanted to introduce myself.
    Thanks!

    Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.

We visit the sheridan area at least once a year. We stay at a campground in Ranchester. We spend at least a week searching for moose in the Bighorn national Forest.

I live in Sheridan, Its one of the few nice areas in Wyoming. I was driving through the mountains last sunday up by Burgess Junction and a moose ran out in front of me... It would have been a sad end to the front of my truck, but I managed to avoid it.

A friend of mine has the whipple, and loves it. It's on an 8.1 and he highly recommends it. I still can't decide if I want to go with the roots style or a centrifugal supercharger. I'm not going to be towing a whole lot, so I was thinking a centrifugal would be better for performance in the upper rpm's... but if I can be convinced otherwise I'd definitely throw a whipple on there.

And for an update... I got my subwoofer bow installed today, and it's awesome! Fits perfectly under the rear seat with Two JL 13TW5's and 1000 Watts! So I don't plan on messing with it much else for now, but I might paint my lower bumper... A want it to be black to match everything else rather than the grey it comes with.
