    yeah I see.. Maybe a title and a vin from a salvaged or flooded vehicle put into the stolen one. Then remove all other "old" vin number stuff on the stolen vehicle? this way it can be sold in a sense "legally" without suspicion.

    So I guess I answered my own questions with your help 99.. Thanks for the clarity..:happy:

    I think the Vin # Number is also Stamped on the Actual Chassis Somewhere, can anyone Confirm or Correct me on this??....:neutral:

    Yeah I thought I heard that also.. I guess how many of us go looking for that though when buying a vehicle.. I never have:neutral: Probably something the DMV inspectors and law enforcement need to know though.
