    Hello everyone,
I am excited to be here and am ready to jump right in and purchase a 1972 C-10 396 that is claimed to have 24000 miles onit. I would like to know how I can tell if this is a #'s matching truck. The truck looks beautiful (in the pictures). I'm supposed to go look at 3 the price seems right and I am looking to purchase this truck as an investment. I will update with pictures this evening if the weather permits. I'm excited about registering, these trucks have always been a favorite of mine.

I almost forgot, I currently own a 99 denali with 86000 miles on it.

    Thank you for your time
    Brandon

welcome to the site i can tell ya right now its not a numbers matching truck the c-10's never came with a 396 the last year of the 396's was in the 70's if it was a big block it would most likely be a 454 or a 402, or it would have the conventional 350 sorry bro for the info i'm just looking out for ya so some guy doesn't BS you

Hey thanks Badburban 98. The ad said 392 so I assumed he meant 396, maybe he meant 402? Who knows, I was supposed to go look today but I haven't heard back from him.
