My son and I just rebuilt the 454 in this vehicle we have dubbed "The Blue Beast"..His first vehicle...he is 16, 6 ft. 5 in., 290 lbs.
could not see him being comfortable in a small it running pretty well and now...because it sat for a while we are stomping out the fires as they start....transmission has been back out and flywheel replaced because the threads holding the torque converter were stripped...the fuel tank mounted fuel pump took a crap...replaced that...electrical gremlins corralled and most problems solved....The newest is the steering wheel seems to be flopping all over the place...I remember this from years back...can't remember the fix..
Does anyone know an upgrade? I will settle for just a fix for the flops....Thx streaker...
