The current one isn't that old. Considering the run of the 92-99 and the 1973-1991 run.

If they keep up they way they've been doing it for the last couple of generations, it should be in 2013.
But that's just my 2 cents.

Seriously??!!??!! I couldn't imagine how it could look any better than the one now, and it's only a few year's old anyways. Perhaps a facelift at like, the 5yr mark....maybe.. I can't even understand why the Silverado doesn't have the same front end yet!! That's how good they look!! The Silverado has a cheesy smile of a grille which is the gayest thing ever! Unlike the Sierra that has the bad ass mouth screaming "F you!" LOL

I seem to recall it will get some kind of redesign in 2013. I think I posted here a link which had some more information. Have to wait and see what the future brings. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new GM keeps the suburban relevant.

The sooner the better. The 3rd row seat in the new model is a huge step backwards. So is the 2nd row seat that doesn't fold flat anymore. What were they thinking? I won't buy another one until they do.

I have to agree with you there. I like the front end look, but the rear interior looks smaller to me. I still haul junk in mine and will continue to do so!
