Have a new Suburban LT 2500 coming in (hopefully) this upcoming week, and it represents my first GM product since my old Chevy years 1952-1967.

I will use it primarily as a tug for an Airstream.

We stuck with the SUV as opposed to a truck because the bride suggested I might like it better. ;-)

Looking forward to picking up tidbits and suggestions from this forum which was recommended by my Suburban driving SIL.

Just wondering. How many more mods can you put on that rig? ;-)

Actually, I quite doing the mechanical stuff when I got rid of my '52 Chevy Hardtop. At one time I had a 55 engine in it. My dad and I did the swap and the 55 dropped into the 52 and lined up bolt for bolt.

Had a little more get up and go as I recall. :)

Thanks to all who have said "howdy"!

As I said, I'm a complete newb and dumb questions are my specialty. :)
