Newbie with a 1987 Suburban...with questions - go figure!

    Thanks for having me. This is my first Suburban but not my first Chevy.

    So - this truck will get a 4" BDS suspension lift, the majority of U-Joints and Tie Rods done, as well as a muffler, front pads and a tune up...and new front inner fender wells.

    The problems:lol::

    The driver side rear body mount(the last one on the frame) appears to be toast - rusted out...any suggestion on a new plate or something?

    The rear inner fender wells are rusted thru at the 'factory' seam(right down the middle and all the way from front to back on the driver side). Any suggestions on a patch that's quick?

    I'm sure more questions will arise...but we'll get to that as we go! :money:

    This 'SUV' will probably see less than 5000miles a year...but I'd like to have it for a few years.

    ...oh yea...the driver side vent window seems to be stuck at the 'rivet'...I'll try some spray lube but can this be replaced - easily?

    Welcome to the site!
    Have you looked @ LMC truck?
    They have alot of stuff for patch pannels ect.

    Yes, I bought the front inners from them, but coudl not locate any rears. :(
