No power after transmission fluid change... help

    2004 suburban, 5.3, 4wd:

I just dropped the pan, changed the filter and fluid in the transmission...pumped out from the cooler lines up front. The truck now has little power in Drive, as if it is starting in too high a gear (from a standing start).

It gave me an engine code # P0758.

Any thoughts what may be out of whack??? Fluid level is good. (Mercon IV)

Sounds like a solenoid got damaged when you installed the pan. Easy to do. Another thought is the wrong filter which can smash a solenoid. Any other codes?

You are wise... In the process of installing the pan, I disconnected (slightly) one of the wiring connectors on the solenoids at the rear of the pan. No damage... just a pain.
