hi, Baker City, Oregon here - for those who have never heard of it (most of you!) we're about 90 South of Pendleton...closer to Idaho than the rest of Oregon ;):sign0144:

    I've been through Baker City!

I moved from Seattle to Dallas in the summer of 1999, took 4 days to do the drive and I stopped for the first night somewhere around (maybe in?) your city. Seems like it was a Best Western. Pulled in around 10 PM and pulled back out around 9 AM.

I've spent a good amount of time in the Tri-cities. Nice place to live .. very cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

love the snow, not so much the insta-slush we've suddenly got! Went from single digits to 40 degrees overnight. Glad for my Suburban!
