Sorry folks - this is about my Impala, not my Silverado. Our 2009 Impala LT 4dr with 18K has a persistent "whistling" passenger window, and an usual noise from the rear - sounding like loose objects in the trunk. Dealer has worked on it several times, and cannot either "hear" the problems, or understand how to rectify them. Wife drives the car and refuses to go back because she is treated like a dumb women. Next step? Corvairfan

Maybe you take it back to the dealer and not your wife.

There's only 2 places for this whistling noise (air leak) to come from, the window weatherstrip, or the door weatherstrip. Have them do a smoke test on it. Or you can do a smoke test on it yourself & then show them where the leak is when you take it in.

I would like to look into this further for you. In order to do so, I will need some more specific information from you. If you could please send me your full name, address, phone number, the VIN for the vehicle, and current mileage via private message, I will be able to take further steps. Thank you again and I look forward to hearing from you.

    Tricia, GM Customer Service.
