Hi folks! I'm replacing the worn out trans in my 2001 Suburban 1500 LT and I figured while I have the transfer case out a rebuild would be in order. The truck has 160K on it so I imagine a few parts maybe worn. I also want to check to see if the pump upgrade was done to it as I am the 3rd owner. My question is are there any special tools needed for the rebuilding process? I know I need snap ring pliers to seperate the case but are there any seals that can only be installed with a special seal installer specific to this unit( Like the ones required for he 4L60E trans)? Thanks in advance
