NP 246 Transfer Case

    Hello, I hope Someone can help me!

    I´d like to repair my transfer case on my 2000 Sierra Z71.

    Now, the transfer case is removed and I need a part, very quick.

    I can not find the part in the internet, so I hope this great forum has an answer :)

    I need the part with the number "5" on the diagramm...

    EDIT: Its the name "SHIMS"

    can You tell me what Part Number is the Clutch Rebuild Kit on the drivetrain side?

    I called drivetrain.com. They tell me that there is no part number available for the shim and it does not come in any rebuild kit. Perhaps from the dealer?

    Thank You very much, in Germany i called some the Chevrolet Dealer, but not one of them get parts of Silverados or Sierras...
    I found one dealer in ebay, but hes not going to send to germany, this must be the right rebuild kit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/246-GM-Chev...Parts_Accessories&hash=item48508662c4&vxp=mtr

    I would like to buy the complete rebuild kit, if it`s no chance to get the part alone...
    But there I found nothing part number, too.

    What happened to yours? Was it damaged?
    The guy at drivetrain.com said that the shim is .060" ~ .062" in thickness. (1.52mm~1.57mm)

    It is not in any kit that they have. He cannot get them.

    Ok, I think i go to an "metal-worker" how makes me an special-mode of the shim.

    How did it go? Were you able to get your transfer case working again?
