I have a 2008 GMC sierra sle with the 6.0 v Max motor. I was driving down the road and heard a loud bang and my truck started shaking and started ticking really really loud. Took it to oriellys and hooked up the computer and it said cylinder 7 misfire. Started changing the plugs and when I took out number 7 plug it had oil on it! If anyone knows anything about this please help!

Sounds like you could have dropped a lifter or possibly bent a valve. I suspect you'll have to pull the head to find out the truth, you might be able to do a leak down and compression test to get an idea of whats going on.

Compression check is in order. You may have broken a valve. In that case I think the cheapest course of action is a junkya.......Used auto parts recycling establishment and a used engine. They sell for $2000 or so complete, and you may wish to sell yours in that condition.
