I know cutting your exhaust is illegal, but the cops in my town dont care about exhaust... anyways I cut mine off right before my muffler, I still have my Cats, I was just wondering if, by cutting them off, i have lost power, gained power, or hurt anything... thanks!

depends on the vehicles age .

the back pressure is part of the PCM programing. no/little back pressure things get messed up. MPG/POWER/RUN issues develop.

the O2 sensors are part of the fuel management.

older carb engines you should not have any problem.
