Hey Jamie how close are you to that school, CW Jeffreys, where that boy was shot and killed?
    Did your daughter know him?

Since this is on the subject of schools, WTH is wrong with the world? Can you imagine getting this letter in the mail from your child's principal?

    Well, I have my views.

Horrible stuff has been happening since the dawn of time. There are always those that choose to be nonconformists. We could go on and on about this, the breakdown of the family, permissive parenting, lack of discipline early in life, children viewing pornography at too early of an age, etc. I'm all about personal responsilibity and parents getting involved in their kids lives.

That being said, some people are just whacked. The best parents, a good education, etc. They just choose to think, act and believe differently and will do as they please, regardless of who gets hurt.

No that was in Toronto. About 40 min drive from my house. But it is a shame this kind stuff goes on.

The letter you received is truely disturbing on so many levels.

You siad it right on Steve!

I could not have said it better, the kids for sure need to be held responsible for their actions but the parents should be held accountable also. Children only know what they see either at home or in school. We have a kid in the neiborhood that is your classic PUNK, he thinks foul language is cool, bad rap music degrading language is cool, you know, the one that always the bad influence. I monitor closely what he is doing when he is with my son and in my yard and I have all the other mom's and dad's doing the same. When I was growing up I was no angel mind u but nothing terribale! My friends dad always knew what we had done before we even got home and after a while we just stopped doing things wrong! it was not worth it any more.
