When my truck is on or running my parking light indicator is on constantly. I have searched the net for possible solutions, but none seem to be sufficent enough due to my late model chevy. Any ideas are appreciated. My truck is a 78 k-10.

You might also check the switch on the parking brake pedal to make sure it is working properly.

In my suburban the parking brake would almost come up all the way but not quite, so the light would stay on. Try pulling out the handle and pushing up on the parking brake at the same time. Maybe it just needs a little help to fully release.
