Part Suggestions - Rotors, Bearings, Pads

I'm being somewhat pre-emptive with my 99 Burb. I just got done replacing the rear hubs and shoes and want to redo the front end with new rotors, bearings and pads. I have a 16 y/o daughter I share my ride with and she has managed in the last year to warp the front rotors with her bad habits (albeit she is getting better).

#1 - Anyone have a suggestion on higher end brand, heavy duty rotor?

#2 - Ceramic or Carbon Metallic pads? Why?

#3 - Any pitfalls with doing the front bearings? They are still OEM with 210K on them so I have never had to do them yet on this model of truck.

    TIA!
