Have a 2003 Silverado 1500 4X2 ext. cab with 5.3 V8. Just did a tune-up and the original pcv valve is not a valve at all, but a housing with tiny hole in the big end. I used AC Delco replacement parts from RockAuto.com. The replacement valve looks just like any other pcv valve, although it doesn't have the part number stamped on it like every other ACD pcv valve I've ever bought (Dealership tech for 20 years, several years ago). The service number on the box matches the number stamped on the original valve, but the valve itself is different. Anybody know what's going on with this? By the way, the service number is CV2001C. Thanks in advance for your help.
