I drive a 05 Silverado 1500 2wd, 5.3L engine, 4spd Auto, 3.73 axle ratio. I am running a Diablo Sport predator tune on it and I raised the rev limiter to 6000RPM. I am running 93 octane with Diablo's pre-set premium tune. Am I going to damage the engine by allowing it to rev that high? I only rev it that high occasionaly ( re: showing off ) and I really like the way it runs but don't want to do any premature engine rebuilding. Any advice appreciated! Peace out
