I recently noticed a small amount of oil spraying along the underbody of my truck where the drive shaft and transfer case link up. I don't have very much experience with drivetrains so I was just wondering if anyone has any insight on how to go about fixing the seal. Thanks

That is not your pinion. The pinion is on the front of the rearend. The seal you are describing that is leaking is the output shaft seal on the transfer case. I'm not familiar with the new transfer cases, but it should be relatively simple to replace.

yeah i believe if you pull your drive shaft out there should be a rubber seal that that sits in, could be that
