Does anyone know what kind of pistons, rods and crank shaft are in a stock LM7 Vortec 5.3L. Any help would be appreciated.

What do you want to know, material, bore x stroke, rod length?
bore is 3.779 and stroke is 3.622 sorry i can't find rod length, but the rods and crank are the same as an ls1 dimensionally.
you can take a 5.3 block and bore it (i believe) .010 and put ls1 pistons in it and the ls1 crank is needed to support the extra weight of the pistons

I believe the crank is just a cast crank, and the pistons are cast aluminum and cast rods
