    I own a 2000 Chevy Suburban
    Running around 120,000m
As i accelerate i hear a strange rattling noise
coming from the driver side and
seems to get louder as i go faster.

Had you said passenger side I might have suggested just to leave her at home on the next trip but since this is not the case could you expand a little about your rattle?

Just joking earlier. Seriously. I was thinking about you rattle problem. Could it be wheel bearings or since you mentioned 4WD, could it be the wheel hubs? I was wondering if you removed anything that didnt come on the vehicle in stock form? If you have them try removing the bug shield, mud flap, and anything else that didnt come from the factory. Then have someone ride with you or you can let someone else drive while you try to listen where the sound is.
