    Hello All,

This is my first post here and I have a question... I have 2000 silverado 1500 regular cab long bed... My truck does have power locks but my drivers side door will not unlock... Even if I manually slide the lock on the drivers side, the door will still not open, so I have had to resort to entering and exiting from the passenger door only... The lock on the passenger door works just fine! Again, even when I manually slide the lock to the open position the drivers door still will not open! Anyone have an idea on what the problem is?

    Thanks!

sounds like the bars inside the door that are connected to the locking mechanism have come off the mechanism. The only way to know for sure is to take the panel off.
