I have a hugh question before I go to the mechanic.....

Everytime I turn to the left (driver side) and now starting on the right (passager side) my truck seems to have a bumping sound coming from tire and I can feel it in the steering wheel also.. NOt sure what it is. I think its the ball joints going bad but I can be very wrong. I'm not really a mechanic. I am running a slightly larger tire 285/70r17 compared to the 265/70r17 but I haven't had any problems until now.

Any idea's what it could be..

I have an 06 GMC Sierra Ext. Cab 4x4 with a body lift and leveling kit.

    Thanks for the help.
