    Hi Guys,

New to the forum......and i'm going to be picking up my 2010 Silverado 1500 LTZ next week. I opted not to do the factory navigation system ( couldnt justify $2200 price tag ). So i was looking on ebay and found some that look oem, but i'm not too sure.

Any reccomendations as for a do it yourself install? Here is one i found that looks oem, but i cant tell. I'd like to just do oem so everything matches........your thoughts, ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated?

I know the first link you posted is a genuine factory nav. I have an 08 Silverado with one installed. They are very nice. Cleans up the dash. I would suggest you find the adapter that cuts off the "safety" feature that won't allow you to input while you are driving. It's annoying especially when the passenger could do it.

The second link looks a little different, but looks nice. I would make sure it is genuine OME. Maybe check out the 2010 model with a nav installed.

I'm curious if you found an OEM unit and if it was able to plug-in and work.
