The radio only works half the time.... if you turn it off for a second, then turn it back on it will respond on the display but not make any noise. Then, you just have to wait until it feels like coming back on again. Has anyone else had this problem?

If you have the factory radio, it sounds like the perfect excuse to replace it with a more modern unit. Maybe something iPod capable.

No, but I've heard of it. It could be as simple as a loose plug, or it's just worn out.

Those radioes are pretty interchangeable throughout the GM line-up, if you wanted to swap it out. I changed my base radio with a CD player out of a '98 Pontiac and it works fine.

See if you can get to the wire harness and make it fail, then go from there.

    Good luck,

Alright, I'll pop the radio out sometime this weekend and check out the connections.
