I have a 1993 Suburban 1500 4x4 and the brakes are horid for a truck of this size. I have upgraded the fronts to slotted rotors and ceramic pads with braided lines and to me they are still WAY under powered. Is there anything I can do to the drums to improve braking performance?

go to one ton brakes on the front (I would think they would be better calipers)and swap in discs in the back
