Rear end clunking or popping noise 2010 chevy crew cab 4x4 z71 six speed 3.07 gears

    -Driveshaft relubed
    -splines filed down-relubed
    -nickel plated slip yoke doesn't fit
    -superball install with minimal difference
    GM says this is normal-I have to disagree. No new vehicle has ever performed like this for me.
    -Any engineers in the forum that could shed some light.
    It happens when decelerating and almost feels like someone bumped you in the rearend. Could it be a computer issue? GM wants to play dumb and pretend everything is just normal. I have contacted an Executive rep Amos Key 313-667-7153. He is polite but so far I am unsatisified. Should I take to to a transmission shop for an evaluation?

    Welcome to the club. GM gave me the runaround too, the service rep said "It didn't do it when I drove it". Extremely unprofessional. Of course it didn't blockhead, it's frigging INTERMITENT!!

    I had this same problem on my 2008 sierra....there is a TSB on it. They replaced the slip yoke on mine. That resolved it.
