I want to replace my rear springs on my 98 4x4 it is a ext cab truck. I was wondering if I could put a heavier spring in there i am not sure i need a 3/4 ton but if it would fit would not mind it. I think right now i only have 3 and then the one that runs kinda straight under it sowith that one there is 4 springs on 1 side, Has anyone did this and where is it i can find springs. I got ahold of a local spring shop and they want 300.00 to put a add a leaf in it, I am not sure if it is going to do anything for me or not, I can push on the back of the truck and it goes down a few inches.
