Removing Catalytic

    I have an 07' silverado (new body) and I am contemplating removing my catalytics for better performance what are the pros and cons of this.

    Dont do it, thier on there for a purpose and you violate several federal and state laws if you do.
    This shouldnt even be a discussion.

    Don't remove them...

    Replace them with high flow CAT's...

    Best of both worlds.

    I Agree With tbplus10......100%...Don't do it.

    Not a good idea. It will void whatever warranty you have left, set off your ses light and really not improve your performance.

    truck cats already are they are rated for high HP already, no need to go and buy "high flow", unless your cats are actually clogged there is no reason to replace them
