    Hi everyone.
I'm posting a question here because thus far I'm unable to find a good answer anywhere else.

I'm helping out my neighbor who's an old Korean War Vet. (I'm a slighty younger Viet Nam Vet :glasses: )
    He has a 1999 Chevy K2500 4X4 with 8 lug wheels.
However being a Ford guy I've haven't worked on a Chevy truck before.

    Here's the deal:
I've replaced the front brake rotors..fairly straight forward.

However, replacing the rear drums (Why do they still equip vehicles w/drum brakes?) is something of a problem
It's my understanding that this vehicle has floating axles that must be removed before the drums can be replaced.
Are there any special tools required? Any "gotcha's' to beware of?
Any advice, suggestions, video clips would be most appreciated.

    Thanks
