OK im looking for some retractable side step for my 2008 GMC Sierra. The ones that come out from under the car when the door opens and then when the door is closed they automatically go back up underneath the truck. Anybody know where i can get them???

You are thinking of AMP Research Power Step by Bestop, some local retailers could possibly carry them. But I know for a fact www.stylintrucks.com and www.4wheelparts.com has them. They are not exactly cheap, but Ideal if you want a step that can still hide away when not in use. Prices can vary from 1200 up to 1600.

Have them on my 2008 Sierra SLT. They are great - got them for just over a $1,000. The local GMC dealer installed them for me.

The "electricstep" site should work. You might type in "retractable running boards" into a search engine.

    Good luck.
