Can I fit a set of 15" rims on my 1996 k1500. I have been told both ways. Im looking at a set of rims but i dont want to buy them if they wont fit. Thanks for any info.

I have never tried. The 2 wheel drives came with 15" wheels from the factory, although the 4x4 might have bigger brakes. My best advice is to take a jack with you to go look at them. Try the fronts on and see if the brakes touch them.

Yes, 15'' will fit your truck. I ran a set of the 15x8 Rallys on my 97 K1500 for a few years.

Well, I sure hope your front brake calipers don't rub. :gasp:
