    guys,
i am interested in purchasing a scanner to read the codes on my 2003 s-10.
what are you guys using, and what would you suggest me to buy ?
not wanting to spend a whole lot of money since it will be used for just this one vehicle, but dont want junk either.
i also want to be able to erase the codes too.
i found this one on summit. will this work for what i have ?
    thanks

Find one that also scans the transmission. Check out OTC scanners. They have all price ranges and are sold threw verious websites.

X2 on getting one that can scan for tranny codes.. Also consider getting one that can read ABS codes since that is another one that is really nice to be able to troubleshoot.
