There is also the possibility that your 16 year old factory cables just don't cut it and resistance is causing your alt to not deliver all 105 amps. When I replaced my factory cables my voltage gauge jumped up to 15.5v charging the battery.

So list of what you can do to correct the problem:
Upgrade alt and ground cables to 1/0 AWG and fuse leads to 4 AWG
Upgrade to bigger factory alternator or aftermarket one (I'll post some links)
Add second battery(really replace current and buy 2 new identical ones) and using an isolator create dual battery set up for running sound system when not running truck.
Use 1/0 AWG cable for the second battery and its grounds.
Make sure cables are 100% Oxygen Free Copper and check the strand count! I linked the Over sized cables I used that are pricey but worth every penny.

Ok, we also have a few members with nice dual set ups like PantheraUncia and former member SurrealOne they both have full pics and explanations in their profiles I believe. Also I have a thread that they both helped me out on in the Tahoe sections which I will link. The thread starts with an argument about battery brands but it has info and links through out.

My Dual battery setup is fairly simple, but if the battery is draining overnight, or that fast I have two questions, how much power are you pushing and is the system grounded properly? I will have to see if I can dig the photo's up.
