I have an 08 Silverado that has a service 4 wheel drive message on the dash. Do I need to take it to a Dealer?[TABLE="class: bordercolor, width: 100%"]

:sign0016:To the Site DJJ.....in the 2008" Silverado Owners Manual it Expresses the following.....Regarding the Service 4 Wheel Drive Light Coming on,

    SERVICE 4 WHEEL DRIVE
This message displays if a problem occurs with the four-wheel-drive system. If this message appears, stop as soon as possible and turn off the vehicle. Restart the vehicle and check for the message on the DIC display. If the message is still displayed or appears again when you begin driving, the four-wheel-drive system needs service. See your dealer/retailer.

Question would be, are you having any Issue's/Problems with your......4 Wheel Drive and when the light comes on, Does it stay on and/or does it come on and then go off???
