How the **** are you supposed to get the shift linkage off a 4l80e to drop the tranny pan? This is the stupidest ****ing piece of ****head engineering yet! Whatever ******* at GM decided you need to remove the crossmember to get the pan bolts out and then have the ****ing shift linkage in the way ought to be strung up by his dick. 4 1/2 ****ing hours into a one hour job and I still don't have the goddamn pan off! There is no room up there to get any leverage on those torx bolts. The government should have let GM go out of business. They're idiots :grrrrrr:

Sorry, no pics, but the Ho wasn't available in 3/4 ton so it's irrelevant.

4l60e in the Ho, 4l80e in the Burb. Totally different animals.

The engineers who designed the GMT800 have officially joined my "Bill Gates" list. That's for people who if I met them in a dark alley, I would beat the f u c k out of them for the aggravation their products have caused me. For every improvement they made on the 800, they f u ck e d up something else.
