Shocks!

    My 99 Silverado with a 3in suspension in front and a 3.5 in rear needs new shocks. As of now i have an old pair of the standard white fabtech shocks. Whats a good shock or should i just replace the ones i have with the same company? I dont want to spend an arm and a leg, but i dont want to sacrifice comfort. Last question is a coil over shock worth the extra money?

    From what i understand the coil over shocks are def. worth the money ( we also use the coil over system on our humvees, and it can take a beating!) but i would only go with a coil over system if your going to be doing alot or serious off roading...if not i would just go with what you had or maybe one step up.

    coilover shocks are meant for real off roading because they are so good and can take such a beating. i would replace yours with a set of skyjacker Nitro 8000 shocks. they are around $40 a piece and wont break the bank. i have only had great experience with them and they ride really well.
