Should the Chevy Silverado come with a Man-Step?

What do you think, should chevy add a man-step option like the Ford F150?

If I'm wishing for an option it would be a 50mm recoilless rifle mounted on the hood.
That way any farm animals or compact cars that got in my way wouldn't be a problem.

If it had the man step that would be fine but I have no need for one. And why pay extra for something you don't need.

Being a moderately short person, it gets a little tough for me to get in and out of pickup beds, especially when the tail of the truck is over lower ground than the tires are on, or the truck's lifted. I grab the stake pocket, plant a foot on the corner of the bumper left exposed next to the tailgate, and hop up. That being said, a man-step would make it easier to get in and out, but I don't think I would actually take the time to set it up and stow it every time I needed to get in and out of the truck. I'm very lazy.... :glasses:

I could see having one if I was 70 years old, and had a hard time getting in the bed. When I do get that old, I won't have to worry about it, because I have kids to do it for me!

I personally thought that it was one of the coolest ideas that I have seen in a while from the automobile industry, although I don't think it's quite as cool as the Lincoln's moving headlight housings! :gasp:

I would have liked one on my last truck since it was lifted, but then again I am a girl so you can't make fun of me HAHAHA!!!!!!
